Trailing 1-0 in the first leg of their Eastern Conference Semifinal series against Sporting Kansas City, the Colorado Rapids were on their heels at home. But things would go from bad to worse as defender Tyrone Marshall was called for a foul inside the box on SKC striker Teal Bunbury in the 59th minute.
Referee Baldomero Toledo awarded a penalty to Sporting and sent Marshall off, as their were no covering defenders. But was the punishment deserved? Watch the clip and let us know what you think.
