Just one week after the release of FIFA 12, EA Sports announced that fans around the world have spent more than 200 million minutes online competing against both good friends and new foes.
How well you fare against your adversaries comes down to a mix of your skill as a gamer and the skill – or ratings — of your players. To create the most accurate reflections of the players, Michael Mueller-Moehring, the EA Sports producer tasked with overseeing FIFA 12’s immense player database, employed a team of three data editors and 150 data reviewers in the US dedicated solely to tracking MLS players.
“The more people that can see the data and comment on it the better,” says Mueller-Moehring.
So which MLS players benefitted most from the EA Sports team’s meticulous research? Here’s a list of the 10 top-rated MLSers in FIFA 12.
