Super Tuesday Poll: Who will be tonight's biggest star?

Super Tuesday on MLSsoccer.com

One night, four teams, and two titles up for grabs. It doesn't get much bigger than Super Tuesday.

On one coast, the LA Galaxy will try to wrap up their second-straight Supporters' Shield. Bruce Arena has his men flying high, seven points out in front with just three games left to play in the season. Sure, the Galaxy will be without stars like Landon Donovan, Robbie Keane and Donovan Ricketts, but Arena's been juggling players and tactics all season. As for how well he's done... the Galaxy's record speaks for itself.

They face a Red Bulls side clinging desperately to the final playoff spot. The juggling hasn't gone as well for Hans Backe and company, as the defense has fallen apart, the rebuilt midfield can't get on the same page and goalkeeper has been a constant concern in 2011. If not for the brilliance of Thierry Henry, the Red Bulls would be dead in the water.

Two hours later on the other coast, the Seattle Sounders and Chicago Fire try to make US Open Cup history. The Sounders have won the Cup twice on the trot, and are looking to become the first team to take three in a row since Greek American AA of Astoria, New York did the triple in 1967, '68 and '69.

Chicago, meanwhile, have charged up the table in the second half of the season, but are still outside the playoff race. Tonight's final may be their only shot at hardware this season, and they desperately want to claim their fifth Open Cup title - tying them with Maccabi Los Angeles and and Bethlehem Steel for the most all-time.

It's a night for trophy cases, spoilers and heroes.

And when it's over, when the final ball has been kicked, when the final whistle blows, who will stand out as the night's brightest star? Beckham vs. Henry? Montero vs. Grazzini? Will Rafa Marquez find redemption? Will Omar Gonzalez stand tall?

Or will it be a role player who comes to the fore? Fucito, Magee, Rodgers, Segares... there are plenty to choose from.

Someone will step up. Tonight, we'll find out who.

But for now, the polls are open. Cast your vote on Super Tuesday.
