What formation should the US national team use?
US manager Jurgen Klinsmann unveiled a 4-1-2-3 formation against Costa Rica. For the first 30 or so minutes, it seemed to work wonderfully, as the side moved the ball well and they created a number of half chances.
But they created only one real chance in the first half, and had no shots on goal. Was that a problem with the formation? Maybe.
So it got us thinking: What formation should the US use?
