Seattle’s Lamar Neagle had two chances to win the AT&T Goal of the Week for Week 24.
In the end, the hat-trick hero’s third goal — a stunning bomb from 25 yards out — in the Sounders’ 6-2 win over Columbus pulled off the victory. In fact it wasn’t even close.
The long-range shot earned more than 57 percent of the fan vote, via web and text, with the closest contender FC Dallas’ Bobby Warshaw, with 12 percent of the vote.
This is the second time a Neagle strike has won the AT&T Goal of the Week. He also won in Week 11. Seattle have now won four times this year.
