This time, Zusi's bomb wins AT&T Goal of the Week

Last time Sporting KC’s Graham Zusi struck a bomb into the upper 90, he lost out on the AT&T Goal of the Week award to a little volley by Vancouver’s Eric Hassli.

This time, not even Robbie Keane’s first MLS goal could beat him. On Friday, Zusi’s long-range missile against Portland won the AT&T Goal of the Week for Week 23, as voted by the fans.

The goal came in the 25th minute of Sporting’s 3-1 win at Livestrong Sporting Park.

Not that Zusi, who was also named MLS Player of the Week, didn’t have company in the vote. Keane’s cheeky finish in his LA Galaxy debut came in a close second, followed by Houston’s Alex Dixon, who scored in the dying seconds of the Dynamo’s win over RSL.
