American Exports: Findley fit for playoffs

Robbie Findley made his Nottingham Forest debut in a win over Leicester City.

AMSTERDAM — Despite missing the last two games of the Championship season with a thigh problem, Nottingham Forest say striker Robbie Findley will be in uniform when they open the promotion playoffs against Swansea City on Thursday.

The former Real Salt Lake ace has been limited to two April league appearances since joining the Reds this winter. He originally injured the muscle in a February training session.

"He's back in training," a Forest spokesman told MLSsoccer.com by phone. "He wasn't fit for the [season-ending win at Crystal Palace last weekend], but he is fit for Thursday."

Nottingham Forest are looking to regain top-flight status for the first time since 1999. They split their two season meetings with Swansea, each side winning at home.
