When the US failed to advance to the quarterfinals in the World Cup, US Soccer president Sunil Gulati came out and expressed his disappointment. While he was proud of the coach's achievements, he believed that not beating Ghana in the round of 16 was a missed golden opportunity.

Since then, rumors have surfaced of Bradley's possibly resignation or release from the US National Team and of a jump to the English Premier League, a league the manager has previously expressed his desire to coach in. After speculation of a move to Fulham died down, recent reports have him as the top candidate for the job at Aston Villa.

However, Bradley may well remain at the helm of the US National Team. Or, another interesting option for him could be D.C. United, who released Curt Onalfo last week and placed Ben Olson as interim head coach.

Bradley himself has kept mum on the subject, and has said that discussions with Gulati won't take place until after the US vs. Brazil friendly.
