XanGo Practice Field gives RSL, visitors and fans a new home to get game ready

Lehi, UT - Major League Soccer franchise Real Salt Lake (RSL) and its jersey-front sponsor XanGo, LLC today advanced their historic partnership with an agreement to build a practice field for the team and its visitors at XanGo's World Headquarters in Lehi, UT. XanGo's natural grass practice field, constructed specifically for RSL's needs, gives the team and its visitors a home during the 2007-08 seasons to prepare for the high level of professional competition. Last November, XanGo announced its landmark jersey-front sponsorship with RSL - the first of its kind in U.S. pro sports.


"We are passionate fans of RSL and Major League Soccer. XanGo looks forward to welcoming our home team, its fans, and its visiting teams from MLS and abroad to our World Headquarters here in Utah. XanGo's new, natural turf practice field for RSL will span over more than three acres on the southern end of the category-creator's campus, running east to west. RSL will utilize the field several times a week for the 2007 and 2008 MLS seasons, while the recently created RSL Utah Under-17 and Under-16 youth teams will also play and practice on the field. Tentative completion is set for mid-July, allowing international visitors Everton FC of the English Premier League and South American powerhouse Boca Juniors the opportunity to visit the finest pitch on the Wasatch Front on Pioneer Weekend, in advance of their July 21 and July 24 tilts against Real Salt Lake.
