Real Salt Lake today announced that tickets to the August 12 "XanGo Cup" featuring Real Salt Lake vs. Real Madrid will be available via 33 additional outlets through SmithsTix at Smith's Food & Drug Stores starting tomorrow, Tuesday, August 1st at 10:00 a.m. MT. Tickets for the historic matchup go on sale TUESDAY at 33 Smith's stores throughout the valley, with a special kick-off event to be held on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. MT at the Smith's in Rose Park, located at 1174 West 600 North. RSL players Adam Acosta, Chris Brown, Christian Jimenez and Joey Worthen will be present at the Rose Park Smith's Thursday afternoon.
Smith's will offer two types of tickets to the match: $49.00 Corner Flag Seats and $79.00 Premium Level Seats. In addition, fans who present their Smith's "Fresh Values" card at the time of purchase will receive a free pass (a $20 value) to the private XanGo Cup Real Madrid practice session (presented by Smiith's) for each Xango Cup ticket they purchase (while supplies last). The practice session, also available to the public for a $20 price, will be occur at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Friday, August 11th at 10:00 a.m. MT.
RSL season ticket holders who renew their 2007 accounts via a $100 deposit will also receive an equivalent number of practice session passes as season seats owned.
