The Kansas City Wizards, Celsius Tannery and Jenny Matthews are happy to announce the members of the newly created Wizards Starting 11 Girls squad, lead by director and team captain Jenny Matthews. The squad will begin their duties before, during and after the match Sunday, July 1, against Toronto FC at 7 p.m. CT at Arrowhead Stadium.
"I am so proud to be a part of the Kansas City Wizards organization and so excited about the 15 girls we selected Thursday night to represent the 'Starting 11 Girls'," Matthews said. "I was amazed by the hundreds of entries we received, and I feel that we have chosen 15 intelligent, classy, beautiful women! Get ready KC, the Starting 11 Girls have arrived!"
Members of the squad receive an impressive array of products and services from sponsors and will be members of the Wizards game day crew, assisting on promotions and events before, during and after Kansas City Wizards home games.
