The Kansas City Wizards launched their online team store, www.KCSoccerStore.com Tuesday as a precursor to a physical location scheduled to open alongside the team's new stadium in 2010. Since ownership group OnGoal took over in August of 2006, Kansas City has expanded its array of available merchandise and strengthened the Wizards brand.
"We are excited about the launch of KCSoccerStore.com because it signifies the beginning of our future merchandising capabilities," Wizards Vice President of Merchandising Jacques Tournoy. "This virtual store will eventually merge into our brick-and-mortar store when it opens alongside our new stadium in 2010. Through KCSoccerStore.com, we will continue to build upon the relationships we have developed with our loyal fan base both locally and throughout the country."
KCSoccerStore.com becomes the preferred online retailer of the Kansas City Wizards and is a great place for soccer teams to purchase uniforms and other equipment. In addition to Wizards gear and team apparel, KCSoccerStore.com will carry merchandise from some of the biggest soccer clubs around the world including: AC Milan, FC Barcelona and 2008 UEFA Champions League winners Manchester United.
