The Kansas City Wizards, Celsius Tannery, McFadden's Sports Saloon and Mix 93.3 mid-day host Jenny Matthews are pleased to announce the second-annual tryout for members of the Kansas City Wizards Starting 11 Girls squad. Tryouts will be held Feb. 21 at 7:30 p.m. at McFadden's Sports Saloon in the Power and Light District across from Sprint Center. Metro Sports will cover the event.
"We are very excited to kick off the second year of the Starting 11 Girls with a great event at McFadden's in the Power and Light District," Matthews said. "We can't wait to meet some smart, energetic, classy girls that want to help us promote the Wizards and the exciting sport of soccer."
Starting 11 Girls will represent the Wizards organization at various events, including roles before, during and after home matches at CommunityAmerica Ballpark in Kansas City, Kan. Jenny, who was voted Kansas City radio personality of the year, will be the squad director and be in charge of selecting the other members of the squad.
