On the game:
"If we had gotten the second goal, I think we would have been comfortable. But, what else, you know, we were one ahead. When there's a chance, they'll get a goal. That's what happens. I think we had some decent brakes but I thought we covered most things. For me, the goal we lost (by Scott Sealy) could have been avoided had we stepped up, but we didn't and we lost the goal."
NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION GOALKEEPER MATT REIS
On the game:
"We did OK; it definitely wasn't as good as the New York game (the 2-0 win on Wednesday) and it shows how inconsistent we've been this year. We had a chance to seal up a spot in the postseason and we didn't get it done. I thought defensively we did well and we limited their chances ... but we fought - we were out there battling and fighting - and I thought that was one of the highlights of our game."

On his goal:
"All I remember is that somehow the ball was bounced - it went up in the air - and Bo (Oshoniyi) made a save and the ball went up in the air. I could see that Jose (Burciaga) was going wait a little bit on the shot to clear it and I just tried to take advantage of that and try to make something out of nothing. I was fortunate enough to be able to put it in the back of the net."
KANSAS CITY WIZARDS INTERIM HEAD COACH BRIAN BLISS
On the game:
"We had epics of decent possession but not enough danger in the first half. Second half we had a little bit more energy. ... Hats off to my guys. They really stuck it out and fought and they got the point. ... We need to generate more offense. We're generating possession, but not generating offense."

On his play recently:
"Time is important; not just time coming off the bench. The more games you get to start, I think, the better rhythm you get for yourself. ... This year I happen to (score the tying goal) for the team. It was big goal for the team. It was a well-deserved point."
On the playoffs scenario:
"As we keep going, hopefully, we continue to get better and make it into the playoffs. I think if we do that, we're going to be a tough team to beat."
