Allando Matheson and Josh Janniere scored the goals. "It's a great start beating one of the home teams, said U16 Head Coach Stuart Neely. "It was very hot and the players were struggling to breath because of the altitude, but they battled through and played very well. It was a physical match up but the boys showed a lot of character and what pleased me was they kept trying to play good football."

Toronto return to action in Denver on Saturday night at 9.00 p.m. ET against New England Revolution. The Revs lost their opening game of the tournament to Kansas City Wizards 3-2.

"We will have to keep the ball better and pass it better than we did against Colorado," said Neely.
