Weekly update: Wizards top Brass

Jimmy Conrad will appear on the Food Network's Emeril Live on July 2.

The Kansas City Wizards Reserves defeated the Kansas City Brass (PDL), 2-0, Monday morning. The match consisted of two 35-minute halves. Defender Aaron Hohlbein headed the first goal in off of midfielder Lance Watson's corner kick. Forward Willy Guadarrama followed with a goal from 18 yards out.

Jimmy Conrad on Food Network Monday, July 2

Earlier this year, Kansas City Wizards defender Jimmy Conrad traveled to New York City to appear in a segment on the Food Network's hit show Emeril Live. Both Conrad and Colorado Rapids midfielder Pablo Mastroeni taped a segment with celebrity chef Emeril, which included an abundance of both gourmet food and wine - although Conrad didn't want to disclose the recipe of the day until the show airs.

"Pablo and I had a great time in New York," Conrad said. "To have the opportunity to go on Emeril Live was something that I'll never forget. I've been eagerly anticipating this appearance on television for quite some time."

The show will air Monday, July 2, at 7 p.m. (CT).
