Kansas City Wizards Continue Pre-season Training in Buenos Aires, Argentina

The Kansas City Wizards continue pre-season training this week in Buenos Aires, Argentina. A scheduled match against Argentinean side Defensa y Justicia was cancelled this morning due to inclement weather and will be made up Tuesday. The next pre-season match is scheduled for this Thursday against local club Velez Sarsfield.

The Wizards will begin training in Kansas City Tuesday, March 18 in final preparations for the MLS opener March 29 at 7 p.m. CT against D.C. United at CommunityAmerica Ballpark in Kansas City, Kan.


Kansas City Wizards Single-Game Tickets Now on Sale Through Ticketmaster

Single-game tickets to all Kansas City Wizards home matches, excluding the game against the Los Angeles Galaxy on Sept. 13, are now on sale. To purchase single-game tickets, visit www.kcwizards.com, www.ticketmaster.com, call Ticketmaster at (816) 931-3330 or stop at area Ticketmaster outlets. For season ticket packages, contact the Wizards at (913) 387-3400.


Tickets went on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. CT and have been selling quickly. Kansas City experienced its best initial-day purchase of single-game tickets since the 1996 season. Individual tickets for the Los Angeles Galaxy game will go on sale at a later date. Fans are encouraged to buy full or partial season ticket packages to ensure a ticket to that match regardless of venue.

Kansas City Wizards to Hold Meet-and-Greet for Players, Season Ticket Holders, Other Fans March 20 at Dave & Buster's in KCK

The Kansas City Wizards will host a meet-and-greet event for players, staff, season ticket holders and other fans Thursday, March 20 at Dave & Buster's at The Legends in KCK. The event will start at 5:30 p.m. for season ticket holders and open to the general public at 6:30 p.m.


Fans will be able to compete against and with players at various arcade games and compete for prizes. Mark your calendars for March 20; further details will be announced in the coming weeks. All available players will attend the event.


Wizards Waive Ryan Raybould

The Kansas City Wizards announced today that defender/midfielder Ryan Raybould has been waived. Raybould appeared in 19 matches (10 starts) over three years with the Wizards and recorded three career assists.
