CARSON, Calif. - Despite not having a game until Wednesday, July 4, the Los Angeles Galaxy will train all week at The Home Depot Center as they begin preparations for a July schedule that holds eight games in four competitions against opposition from three different countries. League games against Chicago and Kansas City will be followed by a road trip to either Cleveland or Richmond, Va. in the U.S. Open Cup before returning to Southern California for games in the World Series of Football and Superliga. But before all of that, the club will participate in a number of community initiatives, including a soccer clinic in Sunland on Thursday and the Dash for the Hungry in San Pedro on Tuesday, in addition to their standard training schedule.
