Weekly Update: Crew prep for Fire

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Crew returns to action on Saturday in Chicago, when it will take on the Eastern Conference-rival Fire at TOYOTA Park. Columbus (6-5-7, 25 pts.) is coming off a 3-1 loss to Aston Villa of the English Premier League in an international exhibition Saturday at Crew Stadium, but the Crew won five times in its last seven league games and is fourth in the Eastern Conference standings, just two points behind third-place New York and five points out of first.

Saturday's match, which kicks off at 8:30 p.m. (ET), will be televised nationally on HDNet and shown at Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar on Bethel Road (5240 Bethel Centre Mall), the Crew's "Official Away Game Headquarters." It can also be heard live locally in English on The Brew @ 105.7 and on-line on TheCrew.com and MLSNet.com, with Dwight Burgess calling all the action, as well as in Spanish on Radio Sol WXOL 1550-AM.

Chicago (5-8-4, 19 pts.), tied for fifth in the East, is coming off a 3-0 victory at Toronto FC on Sunday. The Crew topped Toronto, 2-0, on July 22 in its last league match, with Guillermo Barros Schelotto scoring both goals - a performance that earned him MLS Player of the Week honors last week. The Crew and Fire meet for the second of three times this season and the second and final time at TOYOTA Park. Chicago won the first game, 3-2, on June 3, and the teams meet for a final time on Sept. 8, at Crew Stadium.
