RSL FW Jason Kreis notched his second goal of the 2006 campaign in the 3-2 loss versus the 2005 MLS Cup and Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Champion Los Angeles Galaxy on April 29. Kreis one-touched a point-blank shot inside the left post past LA GK Steve Cronin in the 6th minute to give RSL the 1-0 lead. The play started when DF Carey Talley played the ball through to FW Jeff Cunningham, who dummied it in the midfield to an onrushing MF Andy Williams, who dribbled into the right side of the box and crossed it to the far post for Kreis.

PAIR OF FIRSTS FOR RSL ROOKIES AS SECOND-HALF SUBS SPARK OFFENSE: St. Kitts & Nevis native and rookie FW Atiba Harris notched the first goal of his MLS career 28 minutes into the second half of RSL's 3-2 loss versus the Galaxy on April 29. Moroccan rookie MF Mehdi Ballouchy contributed his first MLS assist when he played a ball to Kreis just to the right of the goal box, Kreis drove in a low cross that Harris hit with a one-touch shot inside the right post in the 74th minute. Harris has started only one game in an RSL uniform, the season-opening 3-0 loss to CD Chivas USA on April 2, and has been a frequent substitute in four of RSL's five matches.

RESERVES LOOKING TO EXTEND UNBEATEN STREAK TO FOUR: Harris sparked the RSL reserves to a 3-0 win Sunday against the Galaxy reserves with a pair of goals - both off MF Christian Jimenez assists - to ensure that RSL's reserve team remains atop the MLS Reserve standings with a 2-0-1 record. Following a 2-2 tie against CD Chivas USA, a 1-0 victory versus FC Dallas and the 3-0 win over Los Angeles, MF Ryan Johnson leads the attack for RSL with two goals and one assist followed by Harris' two goals. Real Salt Lake Reserves (2-0-1, 7 pts., 1st) play the fourth match of its 12-game season against the Columbus Crew Reserves this Sunday, May 7 at 10:00 a.m. MT in Park City.
