Kansas City Faces Chicago Sunday in Clash of Former Club America Stars

Kansas City travels to Chicago Sunday for a match at 2 p.m. CT shown live on both TelaFutura (Espanol) and Metro Sports (English). The showdown features teams tied atop the Eastern Conference standings with seven points apiece and a reunion of sorts for Wizards Designated Player Claudio Lopez and Chicago Designated Player Cuauhtemoc Blanco. The pair played together at Mexican power Club America.

The Wizards enter the match after a 0-0 draw Saturday against two-time defending MLS Cup champion Houston Dynamo. Chicago defeated expansion San Jose Earthquakes Saturday 1-0 to draw level with Kansas City atop the Eastern Conference standings. Chicago is one of two remaining undefeated clubs in MLS with a 2-0-1 record through three matches.
