The Jimmy Conrad Show Kicks Off at the Plaza 810 Zone on Wednesday, April 11 from 6-7 p.m.
Kansas City Wizards defender Jimmy Conrad, Executive Producer of Broadcasting Sean Wheelock and 810 Zone on the Country Club Plaza will team up to present The Jimmy Conrad Show beginning this Wednesday, April 11. The weekly show, which will air in front of a live audience from 6-7 p.m., will feature in-depth interviews, Wizards game analysis and stories from players throughout Major League Soccer. The show will air on 97.3 FM and also be streamed live on www.kcwizards.com. Tune in to hear the latest in Wizards news.


Wizards Weekly to Debut on Metro Sports Thursday, April 12
The Kansas City Wizards, in partnership with Metro Sports-Time Warner Cable, will debut the first episode of "Wizards Weekly" this Thursday, April 12. The show, which will air each Thursday at 11:30 p.m. and replay Fridays at 4 p.m. and Saturdays at 11:30 a.m., will be hosted by Metro Sports anchor Brad Porter.


The half-hour show will feature an opening segment with Wizards Head Coach Curt Onalfo, where Porter and Onalfo will analyze the previous week's match and upcoming opponents, and discuss prominent storylines in soccer around the country. In addition, different players will be in-studio to discuss the latest news both on and off the field.


This week's guests will include Onalfo and Wizards defender Jose Burciaga, Jr.


Kansas City Fills Developmental Roster
The Kansas City Wizards have signed defender Amir Lowery to round out their developmental roster. Lowery will wear the # 4 jersey with the Wizards.


Lowery, a 6'2," 175 lb. defender, comes to the Wizards after a season out of MLS. He spent the 2006 season traveling through Europe for trials with various club teams after playing for Colorado in 2005.


The Rapids drafted Lowery, 23, in the fourth round of the 2005 MLS SuperDraft (45th overall) out of Wake Forest. Lowery appeared in one MLS match for Colorado, while playing in 11 reserve division matches. He scored one goal and recorded one assist while anchoring the reserves defense for Colorado.


Wizards Players to Model Hall's Clothing in Fashion Show on April 26
Fashion, music and fun will combine for a good cause on April 26, when five Wizards players will model clothing from Hall's on the runway at the popular Plaza nightclub Blonde. Defender Nick Garcia, goalkeeper Kevin Hartman, midfielder Kerry Zavagnin, midfielder Jack Jewsbury, midfielder Davy Arnaud, and midfielder Ryan McMahen will team up with their wives and girlfriends for the event, which is also hosted by Mix 93.3 and benefits CASA, a charitable organization that represents abused and neglected children in court.


In addition, Mix 93.3 and the Wizards are asking fans to submit songs that should be played at Wizards games this season. The most popular song submitted will be dubbed the Wizards theme song for the year. Blonde DJ Mike Scott will put his own spin on the music, which debut at the fashion show on April 26. Doors open to the event at 7 p.m., and the fashion show will begin at 8:30 p.m.


Closest Seats in MLS Already Sold Out
The Kansas City Wizards Fieldside Reserved seats have sold out before ever being offered to the general public. These premium seats are located directly behind the field boards on the north side of the pitch at Arrowhead Stadium (opposite the teams' benches) and run roughly from the top of the 18-yard area to the top of the 18-yard area.


Only one row of seats will be available, and each seat will feature concierge service of concessions and merchandise throughout the game. Fieldside Reserved seats have been sold out for every home game on the 2007 MLS schedule. Season ticket holders and corporate partners were given the opportunity to purchase these tickets before announcement to the general public.
