CHICAGO FIRE @ NEW YORK RED BULLS

The Chicago Fire (5-2-1, 16 pts.) take to the road to face the New York Red Bulls (3-1-1, 12 pts.) in the first of three regular season meetings on Sunday, May 25, at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. Kickoff for the match is set for 2:00 p.m. CT. The Fire are coming off a 2-1 home loss to Houston on Saturday, while New York played to a 1-1 home draw with Kansas City. This Sunday's game will be televised by My50 Chicago and TeleFutura, and will be on Chicagoland radio stations WNVR 1030-AM (Polish) and WRTO 1200-AM (Spanish).


Chicago lead the all-time regular season series with New York by a 15-10-6 mark, which includes a 7-7-2 record in games played in the Meadowlands. The Fire went 0-2-1 versus the Red Bulls last year, with road losses on 5/24/07 (3-0) and 9/01/07 (1-0) and a 2-2 draw at TOYOTA PARK on 9/15/07. Chicago and New York have met three times in postseason play, with the Fire taking both games at home (9/26/00, 10/06/00) and losing once at the Meadowlands (9/30/00).


CHICAGO FIRE VS. WISLA KRAKOW WEDNESDAY AT TOYOTA PARK

The Chicago Fire are preparing for their international exhibition against Polish Orange Ekstraklasa (First Division) club Wisla Krakow on Wednesday, May 21. Kickoff is set to at 7:30 p.m. CT at TOYOTA PARK. Fire forward Tomasz Frankowski spent a majority of his career (177 appearances) with Wisla, helping the club win five Polish Championships (1999, 2001, and 2003-05), two Polish Cups (2002 and 2003) and took home the title of top scorer three times (1999, 2001, and 2005).
