The Los Angeles Galaxy announced today that the club will play its first two preseason scrimmages of the year, this week at The Home Depot Center. On Thursday, Feb. 15, the Galaxy will take on Loyola Marymount and on Friday, the club will face the reigning NCAA College Cup runners-up, UCLA. Both games will be played on University Field #1 and kick-off at 10:30 a.m. These matches are open to the public and free to all spectators.
Fans that wish to attend either match are asked to park in Lot 10 at The Home Depot Center and walk to University Field #1 for the game.
These will be the only two games that Frank Yallop's squad plays before departing for Bermuda on Monday, Feb. 19. While in Bermuda, the Galaxy will play a pair of games against the New England Revolution and the Bermudan National Team in addition to continuing its preseason training.
