United sets up to tee off

WASHINGTON, D.C. --
United for D.C., the non-profit arm of D.C. United, has announced details of the Seventh Annual United Celebrity Golf Tournament, presented by United Bank and GEICO. Golfers will gather at Old Hickory Golf Club in Woodbridge, Virginia for a 1:30 p.m. ET shotgun start on Monday, June 23. Participants in this year's event will play alongside current and former United players and coaches as well as a host of other local sports and media celebrities, all while raising money for United for D.C.

United Bank and GEICO have signed on as presenting sponsors of the golf tournament. Companies and other organizations still have the opportunity to join forces with United for D.C. as a sponsor of this event. Sponsorship opportunities are available and include: a presenting sponsor at $6,500, all hole sponsor at $4,500 and a one-hole sponsor $2,500. Foursomes and individuals may donate $1,000 and $275 respectively for a playing slot. The tournament is limited to 36 foursomes. All pricing includes lunch and dinner, beverages, green fees, cart usage and prizes.
