Washington, D.C. - D.C. United announced today detailed plans to collect toiletries prior to United's home match this Saturday night to benefit the Dinner Program for Homeless Women. The Dinner Program will be provided basic toiletries of any size, the likes of shampoo, deodorant, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes and more, to donate to homeless women in the metropolitan area. Fans who donate an item will receive a "Buy One, Get One Free" ticket voucher, valid for select 2007 D.C. United regular season home games and a D.C. United promotional item. D.C. United hosts FC Dallas this Saturday night at RFK Stadium. Kick-off is set for 7:30 p.m. with tickets available at www.dcunited.com
or any TicketMaster outlet.

"The United Drives initiative has become increasingly successful through the years," said United Manager of Community Relations Aprile Pritchet. "We are proud to continue to work alongside the Dinner Program for Homeless Women to support so many in need."

United Drives donations are accepted at every D.C. United Major League Soccer regular season home game at RFK Stadium. The collection bin is located outside Gate A and is open from two hours prior to the game until 15 minutes after kick-off. Donations are also accepted in the D.C. United offices, located on the fourth floor at RFK Stadium's Gate A. This season marks the seventh year of the United Drives campaign, which collects a different item each month to benefit D.C.-area non-profit organizations.
