United, CSN announce broadcast changes

D.C. United and broadcasting partner Comcast SportsNet announced today plans to air United games Sunday, September 9 against the New England Revolution and Sunday, September 23 versus the Chicago Fire on a tape delayed basis.


Sunday's showdown will be played in its entirety on Comcast SportsNet beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET. Tickets to the match, scheduled for a 3:00 ET kick-off at RFK Stadium remain available at www.dcunited.com or through any TicketMaster outlet. D.C. United's match in Chicago will be broadcast in its entirety at 4:00 p.m. ET, an hour later than the 3:00 p.m. ET scheduled kick-off.


D.C. United is currently riding a seven-game unbeaten streak and stands atop the Major League Soccer standings, a single point ahead of the Revolution. After playing host to New England Sunday, the Black-and-Red will play four of their remaining six League matches at RFK Stadium, including a date with Real Salt Lake next Wednesday, September 12.
