Toronto FC trio named to U.S. training roster

U.S. Men's National Team head coach Bob Bradley has named three Toronto FC players to the training camp roster that is set to begin workouts Thursday January 3rd in California.

Defenders Marvell Wynne and Todd Dunivant, and midfielder Maurice Edu were all named to the 26-man squad that will train at The Home Depot Center in Carson in preparation for the U.S.A's first match of 2008. The U.S. will host Sweden in a friendly at the Home Depot Center on Jan. 19.

Toronto FC is one of four clubs to send three players, along with the Houston Dynamo, New England Revolution and Chicago Fire. Twenty-three of the players named to this team are domestic-based.

Edu and Wynne were recently with the U.S. U-23 squad that visited China and took part in two friendlies in mid-December. Edu and Dunivant will be hoping to earn their third cap, while Wynne will be looking for his second.
