TFC season seats sold out

Toronto FC announced Monday that the team has sold out of season seats for the 2008 Major League Soccer season, by capping sales at 16,000. This surpasses the 14,000 seats that were set aside for season seat holders in the team's inaugural season. Due to an increased demand for tickets after year one; as reflected by the team's waiting list, more season seats were made available for purchase.

"We continue to be amazed by the support from our fans," said Toronto FC Director of Business Paul Beirne. "We felt the need to increase our season seat base to help accommodate the demand, and while we raised the number of season seats, we are still intent on keeping our commitment to youth soccer clubs, and groups who still want to be part of game day at BMO Field by keeping an allocated number of seats available for them."</p>

Toronto FC also has additional ticket options to purchase seats for the upcoming 2008 season. Those include Half Season Packages, as well as the TFC/Marlies All Season Sports Package. Toronto FC's waiting list will have first opportunity to purchase these ticket packages. Any remaining packages will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday November 20th. Tickets can be purchased by phone at (416) 360-GOAL (4625).</p>
