Toronto FC Academy beat North York Astros 1-0 at Esther Shiner Stadium in the Canadian Soccer League on Sunday afternoon. Junior Ellis scored the winning goal for TFC Academy in the 54th minute.
North York Astros finished the game with only 9 men after two of their players were sent off. It was TFC Academy's second game of the weekend. They lost at home to St. Catharines Wolves 1-0 on Friday.
TFC Academy's record is now 2-1-0.
