The Houston Dynamo gears up for a brief break from Major League Soccer play to compete in the first-ever SuperLiga, which pits four MLS teams against four of Mexico's best First Division clubs. At stake: pride for North American supremacy and a $1 Million payoff.

The Dynamo will host three games in group play at Robertson Stadium:

*Wednesday, July 25 vs. Club America, 9:00pm

*Sunday, July 29 vs. Monarcas Morelia, 9:00pm

*Wednesday, August 1 vs. D.C. United, 7:00pm

Other MLS teams competing in the event along with Dynamo include D.C. United, FC Dallas and the Los Angeles Galaxy. The two other Mexican teams outside of Dynamo group B include Chivas de Guadalajara and Pachuca. First and second-place teams in each group meet in semifinals on August 14-15, with the champion to be decided on August 29. All three first-round group games involving the Dynamo will be aired on TeleFutura, KBME 790AM, La Nortena 850AM & 101.7FM.

"This is a great new concept between the best of MLS and the best of Mexico," said Dynamo President Oliver Luck. "We are delighted that we are part of the select group of MLS teams involved in the event, and that our fans at Robertson Stadium will be able to see their home club compete against the best teams in our continent."

The Dynamo is offering fans a special SuperLiga package-four game tickets and one parking pass (pick any game) for just $45. Tickets for the SuperLiga extravaganza go on sale beginning Saturday, July 6 at 10:00am, at all Ticketmaster outlets, including Fiesta locations, and at houstondynamo.com.
