Stover named GM of Red Bull Park

Red Bull New York Friday named Erik Stover as Vice President, Operations and General Manager of Red Bull Park. In his position, Stover will be responsible for the overall management of the Red Bulls facilities presently under construction in Harrison and Hanover, New Jersey, respectively. Stover begins his duties with Red Bull New York on March 3, 2008.


"We are excited to have Erik join Red Bull New York," said Red Bull New York Managing Director Marc de Grandpre. "Erik's experience in the stadium industry, along with his ties to New Jersey, will be an asset as we build two state-of-the art facilities in Red Bull Park and the Red Bull Training Grounds. These facilities will be the centerpieces of our organization."


Stover joins Red Bull New York after serving as the General Manager of Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego since 2005. Prior to his tenure at Qualcomm Stadium, Stover spent nine years with the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority where he served in a number of positions rising to the position of Assistant Vice President of Stadium Operations of Giants Stadium. Stover's background includes facility and event management for both sports and entertainment properties. In addition, he had been involved in facility construction and renovation projects at both Qualcomm Stadium and Giants Stadium. He is a graduate of Penn State University.
