CARSON, Calif. - Hit the greens with your favorite LA Galaxy players like Landon Donovan, Cobi Jones and David Beckham during the Sixth Annual "Day on the Links" Golf Tournament on Monday, October 15 at the Coyote Hills Golf Course in Fullerton, Calif. There are only a limited number of spots left in the tournament so be sure to register today and ensure yourself a spot in one of the most anticipated dates on the Galaxy calendar.
Participants will be placed in foursomes with Galaxy players and coaches for a day of fun on the links. Registration starts at 10 a.m. with lunch being served and all players being given the opportunity to enter a putting contest as well as the chance to fine tune their swing on the driving range before the main event gets underway. The tournament will then begin at noon with a shotgun scramble, during which players will have the chance to win a series of prizes including a Porsche for a hole-in-one and more. In addition, all golfers will visit the Pepsi Pit Stops, a wine tasting hole sponsored by E & J Gallo winery, and a Jose Cuervo tequila tasting hole. Following their round, all participants are invited to the Awards Dinner with MC Mark Rogondino of FSN West, as well as the silent auction and raffle, which begins at 5 p.m. at the Coyote Hills Golf Course Clubhouse.

The event's proceeds will benefit the Los Angeles Galaxy Foundation's many outreach programs, including Kicks for Kids, where Galaxy tickets are donated to organizations benefiting disadvantaged children, the annual Foundations' Feast, serving 200 underprivileged youth a Thanksgiving meal and the Holiday Assist Program, where kids are treated to $100 shopping sprees for much-needed clothes and holiday presents.
