Second year of Oscar Pareja Clinic Series begins on Thursday

FRISCO, Texas - FC Dallas assistant coach Oscar Pareja and nine FCD players will conduct the first of 10 free community soccer clinics on Thurs. Feb. 22 at Winters Park in Garland. The "Oscar Pareja Community Clinic Series presented by Allstate" is entering its second year. In the inaugural year of 2006, over 2000 local kids combined to attend the nine free clinics in throughout the MetroPlex. For the first clinic of 2007, 150 kids from the Youth Latin American Soccer Association are expected to attend.

ABOUT THE CLINICS
The Oscar Pareja Community Clinic Series presented by Allstate is a series of ten clinics organized by the FC Dallas Foundation throughout the year benefiting children in predominantly Hispanic neighborhoods. A local youth organization is selected to receive free soccer lessons. The kids also receive free tickets to an FC Dallas game, a special gift, and the opportunity to meet FC Dallas coaches and players away from Pizza Hut Park.
