RSL teams with Levy Restaurants

Sandy, UT --
Major League Soccer (MLS) team Real Salt Lake will celebrate the opening of a new soccer-specific stadium at the end of the 2008 season, and today announced Levy Restaurants, a leader in premium sports and entertainment dining concessions, as the official restaurant partner at the new Real Salt Lake MLS Stadium in Sandy, Utah.

Chicago-based Levy Restaurants is a James Beard Award-winning restaurant company known for having transformed sports and entertainment dining experiences by bringing restaurant-quality food to sports and entertainment settings. At Real Salt Lake Stadium, Levy Restaurants will operate concession stands throughout the ground and club levels, along with luxury suites, with a menu that offers traditional stadium food favorites, healthy menu options and a luxury suite menu incorporating locally-grown, regional specialties.

Levy Restaurants also leads menu development and planning at several other MLS soccer-specific stadiums, including Chicago's Toyota Park, home of the Chicago Fire, and The Home Depot Center in Los Angeles, the home stadium of both the LA Galaxy and Chivas USA. Levy Restaurants has roots in the Salt Lake City area as well. Bistro Toujours, an upscale restaurant specializing in French and American cuisine located at the resort Chateaux at Silver Lake, in Park City, Utah, is among the company's diverse portfolio of restaurants.

"We're thrilled to be working with Real Salt Lake to create unique dining experiences for their fans," said Andy Lansing, President and CEO of Levy Restaurants. "We are restaurateurs at heart, and food is our passion. The stadium will be among the finest in the league, and Levy Restaurants is happy to add to fans' enjoyment through our food."

"Levy Restaurants has proven itself a leader in the development of cuisine and food service at venues of all types across America," said SCP Chairman Dave Checketts, owner of Real Salt Lake. "Patrons at our world-class Stadium deserve the unique mix of local and international menu offerings that Levy expertly prepares. Just as our Stadium brings people together, breaking bread over Levy Restaurants creations completes the regal experience."

The concessions menu will include classic stadium fare done the Levy Restaurants way, such as foot-long chili char dogs, bratwursts and steak sandwiches, and specialty items such as the chipotle lime chicken tacos, stir fry ginger beef and Levy's signature ice cream nachos, a dessert made with cinnamon sugar tortilla chips topped with ice cream and chocolate syrup.

In the luxury suites, the menu created by Levy Restaurants Regional Chef Tom Coohill includes diverse options such as mini buffalo chicken sandwiches, chili-apricot roasted pork sandwich and a classic beef tenderloin.

Also available in the luxury suites will be Levy's Chef's Harvest selections, which are made with natural, locally grown, sustainable or organic ingredients and will include a chef-carved ribeye, red trout sliders and a sirloin sandwich.

The kids menu gives parents a balance of options such as "Pups" mini corn dogs, Peanut Butter & Jelly on whole wheat, fresh fruit cups and fruit bubble teas.

"With this menu, I wanted to give Real Salt Lake fans great dining options throughout the stadium," said Coohill. "We strived to create a menu that truly offered something for everyone, and the abundance of great locally-grown ingredients in Utah allowed us to create great flavors with the Chef's Harvest selections."
