RSL and The Depot to Host Official Viewing Party for Saturday's contest

SALT LAKE CITY - Real Salt Lake will kick off another week of events throughout the Salt Lake Valley this Saturday, April 19, when the team will host the RSL Official Viewing Party for this weekend's match against Toronto FC at The Depot, a private club for members, located at the northern end of The Gateway in downtown Salt Lake City. The event kicks off at 10:00 a.m. MT, when RSL General Manager Garth Lagerwey will host the latest of his periodic "Fan Summits" just prior to the match-up in Canada, with fans of all ages invited to visit with Lagerwey and RSL players and get ready for the RSL-TFC contest. So grab the family and head on down for some good eats, good company and great soccer action, with the KSL-TV broadcast feed becoming available at 10:30 a.m. (game will be broadcast via tape-delay on KSL beginning at 2:00 p.m.).

The Depot and Baxter's American Restaurant are thrilled to host the Saturday morning watch party and are pulling out all the stops by opening up its full bar beginning at 10:00 a.m. and offering a $10 breakfast buffet, which includes scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, hash browns, muffins, coffee, milk and juice. RSL fans will be able to enjoy the "RSL on KSL" production on TVs throughout the venue and restaurant... it'll be just like sitting in the front row at BMO Field!

However, RSL fans won't be the only people downtown this Saturday morning, as the Salt Lake City Marathon is scheduled to wrap up just behind The Depot at The Gateway's Olympic Legacy Plaza. As such, parking will be very difficult downtown (visit the marathon website, www.saltlakecitymarathon.com, for a list of road closures) and we suggest taking public transportation (though north-south TRAX trains will terminate at 450 S. Main St. between 6:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. - for more, visit www.rideUTA.com ). Those who drive to The Depot should to approach the venue from the north side in order to park and access the building.
