SALT LAKE CITY - Real Salt Lake and Check City have partnered to offer fans yet another way to purchase discounted tickets for RSL's upcoming XanGo Cup 2007 contest against Argentine powerhouse Boca Juniors next Tuesday, July 24, at Rice-Eccles Stadium at 8:00 p.m. MT. Through next Monday, July 23, fans can purchase $25 North Goal Bleacher seats in section N25 by visiting the Check City branch at 3491 S. Redwood Road in Salt Lake City. Gates for the RSL-Boca Juniors match will open at 7:00 p.m., but fans can enter the popular 'Carnival Real' fan area in the south plaza of Rice-Eccles Stadium beginning an hour earlier at 6:00 p.m.
Next Tuesday's contest against Boca Juniors will be the second of two XanGo Cup 2007 contests, with the second annual celebration of soccer kicking off this Saturday, July 21, against English Premiership side Everton FC (8:00 p.m. MT). Both Pioneer Day weekend contests will feature post-game fireworks shows, with Cyprus Credit Union presenting the July 21 extravaganza and Comcast hosting the "Comcastic Fireworks Show" following the Boca Juniors affair.
