Revolution tickets go on sale Saturday

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Revolution announced today that individual tickets for its 2008 home games at Gillette Stadium will go on sale at 10 a.m. this Saturday, Feb. 23. Individual tickets start at $19 and can be purchased by calling (877) GET-REVS or through all Ticketmaster outlets, including ticketmaster.com and (617) 931-2222.

The Revs will play 15 regular-season MLS games at Gillette Stadium this year, including the team's first-ever MLS First Kick match on Saturday, March 29. For the first time in team history, the Revs will host a season-opening match as the Revs are set to host the Houston Dynamo at 7:30 p.m. in a rematch of MLS Cup 2007.

The Los Angeles Galaxy, featuring international icon David Beckham and U.S. National Team star Landon Donovan, comes to Gillette Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 30 for a 7:30 p.m. match. Last year, the contest between the two clubs sold out early and the Revs defeated the Galaxy, 1-0.

The month of August brings the Revs' four biggest rivals - and four of MLS' Designated Players - to Foxborough as Juan Pablo Angel and the New York Red Bulls (Saturday, Aug. 2); Cuauhtemoc Blanco and the Chicago Fire (Saturday, Aug. 9); Marcello Gallardo and D.C. United (Wednesday, Aug. 20) and Los Angeles Galaxy (Saturday, Aug. 30) all visit Gillette Stadium to start the push toward the 2008 MLS Cup Playoffs.

The home schedule also features:
• the Chicago Fire on Saturday, May 3 in a rematch of the 2007 Eastern Conference Championship game;
• the San Jose Earthquakes' first trip to Foxborough since 2005 on Saturday, May 17;
• an early Thursday night clash with archrival D.C. United on May 29; and
• a season-ending match against the Kansas City Wizards on Saturday, Oct. 25.

Individual game ticket prices:
Category 1: $37
Category 2: $27
Category 3: $19
(Group discounts are available for parties of 20 or more.)

Tickets for premium seats, including the Fidelity Investments Clubhouse, Presidents Club and EMC2 Suites, are also available by calling the Revolution ticket office.

Revolution Season Ticket packages, which include tickets to all 15 Revolution home games, five additional soccer events and free parking, among many other amenities, are also still available for purchase. The First Kick Four Game Package is also currently available and starts at $72 per four-game package.
