Reserves: KC 3, TFC 2

The Kansas City Wizards handed Toronto FC's reserve team their first league loss of 2008 on Saturday, 3-2 at BMO Field.

Goals from Jarrod Smith and Jeff Cunningham had given Toronto a 2-0 first half lead.

Cunningham played in Smith to open the scoring for TFC in the 6th minute and Cunningham scored himself wth a good finish past Eric Kronberg 20 minutes later. The striker only played the first half of the game, having already come on as a substitute for the first team earlier in the day.

But Ryan McMahen pulled Kansas City back into the game with a goal just before halftime, and it stayed 2-1 to Toronto until the final 20 minutes. Matt Marquess tied the game in the 71st, and Jonathan Leathers scored the Wizards winner with 13 minutes to go.
