A Look Back:
U20s: The U20s posted a 3-0-0 week in U20 Super League action, allowing just one goal and outscoring their opponents, 11-1. On Wednesday, July 9, the Red Bulls defeated U20 NJ Rangers, 5-0, with goals from five different players. Mark Wiltse, Dily Duka, Christian Uy, Steven Amaya, and Johnny Exantus combined for the win. On Saturday, July 12, the U20s posted another dominant win, racing past U20 Beachside, 5-1. Exantus, Christian Uy, Amaya and Duka scored for the second time in the week, with Matthew Uy adding his first of the week. The Red Bulls completed the undefeated week with a 1-0 win over U20 Jersey Knights on Sunday, July 13. Exantus scored his third goal in as many games to provide the difference.
"It was a difficult game for us (Sunday), the Knights worked hard and we just had some trouble finishing some of our chances," stated Head Coach Rob Elliott. "However, in the 2nd half we began to show some more quality and energy and we were more dangerous in the attacking third."
U18s: The U18s had the week off.
U16s: The U16s had the week off.
U15s: The U15s improved to 12-0-1 in Super Y League action following a 3-0-0 week. The Red Bulls outscored their opponents 13-3 to increase their scoring differential +39. On Wednesday July 9th, goals from Oscar Castillo, Keith Francisco, and Tim Centineo propelled the U15s to a 3-0 win over U15 NJ Rangers. The winning ways continued on Saturday, July 12th with a 5-2 win over U15 Super Nova. Castillo and Francisco were joined as goal scorers by James Raytsin, John Agudelo, and Jonathan Gonzalez. The undefeated week concluded with a 5-1 win over U15 City Islanders on Sunday, July 13th. Gonzalez and Raytsin each recorded a brace, with Castillo also finding the back of the net.
U14s: The U14s defeated U14 Princeton, 2-0, in Super Y League action on Sunday July 13th, in their only action of the week. Danny Bartok and Robert Kcira were the goal scorers for the Red Bulls.
