SALT LAKE CITY - The Real Salt Lake senior and Reserve Division sides will both be looking for their first wins of the 2007 campaign this week when the squads welcome a pair of Eastern Conference sides to the Wasatch Front.
The RSL Reserves (0-3-0, 0 pts.) will hit the field for the first time in a month this Wednesday, June 20, when the team will square off against the New York Red Bulls Reserves (3-1-0, 9 pts.) for a 10:00 a.m. MT kick-off at Quinn's Junction in Park City. The two sides were originally scheduled to play in early May, but a scheduling conflict for the Red Bulls forced the match's postponement.
Following a hard-fought 3-2 defeat yesterday at the Los Angeles Galaxy, the Real Salt Lake senior squad (0-5-6, 6 pts.) will return to regular season play this Saturday, June 23, when a resurgent D.C. United (5-3-2, 17 pts.) side makes its lone visit of the season to Salt Lake City. Kick-off for Saturday's match at Rice-Eccles Stadium, which will be broadcast live nationwide on Fox Soccer Channel, is slated for 7:30 p.m. MT.
