Real Salt Lake to host watch party for USA-Uruguay U-20's tonight at Jersey's downtown

SALT LAKE CITY - Real Salt Lake invites all soccer fans down to Jersey's restaurant downtown (formerly Iggy's), located at 677 S. 200 West in Salt Lake City, this evening to watch the U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team continue its run at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in a Round of 16 showdown with Uruguay. Once the workday ends the fun begins, as the Watch Party at Jersey's starts at 5:30 p.m. MT, 15 minutes before kick-off in Toronto between the U.S. and Uruguay.

A strong United States squad has been paced by the Real Salt Lake trio of MF Freddy Adu, GK Chris Seitz, and DF Nathan Sturgis, with all three playing 90 minutes in each of the USA's three contests in the tournament to date. Adu has shined in Canada, notching three assists and three goals, the latter tying him for second place in the tournament in scoring. Seitz has been solid, compiling a 1.00 goals against average in helping the U.S. to an undefeated 2-0-1 record in group play. Sturgis has helped anchor a defense allowing just a goal per contest in the tournament, helping to provide a steady balance between the squad's defense and the World Cup's highest scoring offense.

All fans at Jersey's this evening will have the chance to win RSL merchandise and tickets to RSL's second annual XanGo Cup, featuring EPL power Everton FC on Saturday, July 21, and South American champion Boca Juniors on Tuesday, July 24. Both games kick off at 8:00 p.m. MT at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
