SECAUCUS, N.J. - Red Bull New York announced today that it has acquired fourth-round 2008 MLS SuperDraft pick from Toronto FC and swapped allocations in exchange for New York's rights to forward Abdoulaye "Abbe" Ibrahim.
After joining New York on March 21, 2005, Ibrahim made 16 appearances and six starts during the subsequent season. The Togoese forward scored two goals and three assists that year, but did not play in MLS in 2006.
