RBNY name Stover as Managing Director

Red Bull New York announced that Erik Stover has been promoted to the role of Managing Director of Red Bull New York effective immediately. Stover replaces Marc de Grandpre, who resigned on April 9, 2008.


Stover joined Red Bull New York on March 1, 2008, as Vice President, Operations and General Manager of Red Bull Park. Previously, Stover served as the General Manager of Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego since 2005. Prior to his tenure at Qualcomm Stadium, Stover spent nine years with the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority where he served in a number of positions rising to the position of Assistant Vice President of Stadium Operations of Giants Stadium. Stover's background includes facility and event management for both sports and entertainment properties. In addition, he had been involved in facility construction and renovation projects at both Qualcomm Stadium and Giants Stadium. He is a graduate of Penn State University.


Stover will oversee all of the business and commercial aspects of the team. In addition, Head Coach Juan Carlos Osorio and Sporting Director Jeff Agoos will report to Stover.
