Rapids single game tickets on sale Saturday

COMMERCE CITY, CO. - The Colorado Rapids have announced that the club will host a special "On-Sale Event" at Dick's Sporting Goods Park this Saturday, Feb. 23 in conjunction with the club's single game ticket release date.

Single game tickets for all Colorado Rapids home games during the 2008 season at Dick's Sporting Goods Park will go on sale this Saturday at 12 p.m. MT. Rapids single game tickets will be available for purchase at the event, taking place just outside Dick's Sporting Goods Park Box Office, via phone by calling 1-866-461-6556, at the kiosks at any Colorado Dick's Sporting Goods location, or online at ColoradoRapids.com.

Single game tickets start at just $12 for all Rapids home games. Information on all ticket prices and single game promotions can be found on the team's website.

Select games, such as the Rapids' season opener versus the Los Angeles Galaxy on March 29 and the club's 13th annual 4th of July game versus the New York Red Bulls, are anticipated to sell immediately, so fans are encouraged to act quickly to secure their seats before selected games sell out.

Rapids players and mascots will be on-hand at Dick's Sporting Goods Park welcoming fans and signing autographs, food, music, and the Rapids Soccer Tour will also be on hand for the enjoyment of fans at the festivities on Saturday.

Season ticket packages are still available and are highlighted by the Rapids Six Pack, which features the home opener versus the Los Angeles Galaxy as well as games against last season's MLS Cup Finalists Houston and New England.
