Rapids 2007 single-game tickets at Dick's Sporting Goods Park go on sale this Saturday at 10 a.m. MT

COMMERCE CITY, CO - The Colorado Rapids today announced that single game tickets for the 2007 season at the brand new Dick's Sporting Goods Park will go on sale to the public for the first time this Saturday, March 10 at 10:00 am (MT).

Ticket prices range from $17 to $32 apiece, and can be purchased at the Dick's Sporting Goods Park box office, online at www.ColoradoRapids.com, or through Kroenke Sports Enterprises' newest venture, TicketHorse. Fans can visit www.TicketHorse.com, order by phone at (866) 461-6556, or, starting on March 31, visit any TicketHorse kiosk, located at all Colorado Dick's Sporting Goods stores, to purchase Rapids single game tickets.

The games likely to sell out first in the 18,000-seat stadium are the Rapids' home opener on April 7 against DC United, the annual Fourth of July game, featuring Colorado's biggest fireworks display, and David Beckham's scheduled first regular-season visit to Dick's Sporting Goods Park on Aug. 26.

The establishment of KSE's TicketHorse ticketing system will save Colorado soccer fans a considerable amount of money in ticket fees. Compared to last year, convenience fees for phone and internet orders will be $2.75 to $4.25 less, and convenience fees for outlets will be $2 to $3.50 less. Order processing fees will drop 35 cents for internet and phone orders. Print at home fees will drop from $2.50 to just $1.

The Rapids will also be hosting for the fourth consecutive year the club's Rocky Mountain News Family Nights six times throughout this season. For just $69, fans can get four seats, four sodas, and four hot dogs. Three games will be classified as Rapids Youth Nights, where any kid 16 and under can get free admission when an adult ticket is purchased in the endline, corner flag, and premium sections. Both Thursday night games on the schedule are also College Nights, where endline, corner flag and premium section tickets can be purchased for half price when fans present their college student ID at the box office. Several other promotions are on tap for the Rapids' 2007 season; for more information on all the Rapids' game promotions this year, fans should log onto the schedule page at www.ColoradoRapids.com

Season ticket packages are still on sale and will guarantee fans the same seat for 18, 9 or 5 games, and can be purchased by calling the Rapids at (303) 825-GOAL.
