RagingBullNation gives back

On October 13 RagingBullNation got to see a big win by the N.Y. over K.C.

Saturday, October 13 was a very special day for RagingBullNation. In addition to seeing the Red Bulls win over Kansas City, the Nationals and Diplomats of RagingBullNation (RBN) welcomed guests from two important outreach events.

First, RBN played host to the winner of the first annual "Spend the Day with Johnny Toro" raffle. Johnny is undoubtedly one of the most recognized faces at any Red Bull game. With his make-up, bullhorns and nose ring, he draws the attention of fans of all ages as well as local and international media. Ashlee Booth and her family joined Johnny Toro and the rest of the Nationals and Diplomats of RBN for their Roadside Roundup (tailgate) and the march into the stadium. They then stood in The Corral (Section 115) to welcome the Red Bulls to the field and cheer them on to a victory over Kansas City. Proceeds from this event will go to the United Service Organization (USO) in memory of Gennaro (Jerry) Russo. Jerry was an original member of RBN (a.k.a. MetroNation) in 2005 whose loss last summer is still felt deeply by all members of the group.

RBN also hosted several families from the Starlight Starbright Foundation. This foundation helps seriously ill children and their families cope with their pain, fear and isolation through entertainment, education and family activities. Members of RBN donated their unused season tickets so these families could experience a great day of soccer. These guests also joined RBN for the Roadside Roundup where everyone enjoyed hamburgers, hotdogs and making their own ice cream for dessert! They also marched in with everyone to The Corral to watch the match.
