TORONTO FC HEAD COACH JOHN CARVER

On the substitutions in the second half:
"It was very difficult because, I thought both of them had steady games but I was looking at the offensive side of it and I just thought that the introduction of Jimmy Brennan on the left-hand side, because I know he likes to get forward and I told him, that was his instructions at halftime before we went out ... and we nearly scored from him getting forward when Amado was on the pitch. But it was difficult for Todd and certainly for Kevin Harmse -- he (Harmse) had one of his best games for us this season but again, a defensive type of player and I wanted to try and introduce Mo Edu and maybe he'd give us a bit more offensively."

On the game:
"I have to be honest, I'm grateful for a point. I'm grateful of a point because that might be the difference between getting into that playoff spot, and just missing out. It's games like that when you have to dig out a result. We've dug out a result here today because 15 minutes from the end I thought there was only going to be one team that wins it and it wasn't going to be us. So I have to give Kansas a lot of credit, they've come here to a difficult place with our record and they've played for the manager, they did a great job for the manager."

TORONTO FC DEFENDER MARVELL WYNNE

On the game:
"It's definitely frustrating, we're at home, and we expect from ourselves better play as well as more points. In the end though with the result that came and with the way we performed, I think we may be lucky to even get away with a point."

On the result:
"There were definitely positives, which I believe is actually a good mentality to have within this team knowing that a point and a shutout isn't good enough. We strive for the best that we can get in everything -- I guess we'll just take the good with the bad."

TORONTO MIDFIELDER CARL ROBINSON

On the result:
"We got something out of the game and at the end of the day; John Carver said that that point might be crucial in the quest for a playoff place."

On the game:
"Obviously they came with a plan to try and dominate the midfield in the central areas. We had to try and get the ball out of the middle quickly to our wide men, but then when we lost possession we knew we'd be outnumbered in the middle of the park it was a difficult situation. We're disappointed with our performance today but it's a bonus because we got one point."

KANSAS CITY WIZARDS HEAD COACH CURT ONALFO

On game:
"I thought for the most part it was very well played from our team, we created enough chances to win the game. We came into a very difficult place to play and I thought for a good portion we dictated the pace of the game. Disappointed we didn't get 3 points today but happy with getting a point in a very difficult place to play."

KANSAS CITY WIZARDS MIDFIELDER KERRY ZAVAGNIN

On the game:
"No it certainly wasn't the worst result, we were shooting for three points and I think that it was evident in the way we came out in the first half, we created a lot more chances than we have been lately and that's certainly a positive. If we put one or two of those away it's certainly a different game because I thought defensively we were rock solid. We put in a great effort for 90 minutes and for the most part we weathered a little bit of their storm in the second half, but I think that we carried the game. That's a credit to our approach coming in after coming off a difficult 3-0 loss at home; this is a step in the right direction."

On the shutout:
"You know it's difficult to always pinpoint exactly why you're not scoring, but like I said today we created enough quality chances, these weren't half-chances that we were hoping would go in, these were ones that once we get one or two hopefully they're going to keep falling for us and we're going to start getting three points instead of one."

KANSAS CITY WIZARDS DEFENDER JIMMY CONRAD

On the game:
"I thought over the course of 90 minutes we created the better chances, there's not many games this year that we can say that so I think there's a lot of positives. I felt very good about our plan, our execution, we just didn't hit the back of the net today but we continue to get more chances like that we're going to win more games."
