Quotes: RSL 2, TFC 1

REAL SALT LAKE 2, TORONTO FC 1

REAL SALT LAKE HEAD COACH JASON KREIS

On giving up a late goal and coming back:

"To give away a goal like (we) did late in the game, and to react the way they did just makes me incredibly proud to be leading this group, but also to feel like I am part of this group."

On the RSL forwards missing early chances:

"(Robbie Findley) and Yura (Movsisyan) both had chances early in the game. Yura played a really good strike that (Greg) Sutton just made a fantastic save on. I think both of them right now feel the pressure."

On the performance of Jamison Olave:

"He has been nothing short of spectacular, and defensively tonight he was spectacular as well. I was very excited to see him score a goal because I have known all along that he could be dangerous for us on attacking corners. The interesting part of that is that we can't get him to go up on all the corners. I guess he feels a little bit tired when he has to get back. So to see him rewarded for one, maybe he will go up for all the corners coming up, and that will really help us out. "

On the importance of coming back and winning:

"It makes me feel like my faith is well-placed in them (the team), and I know it is a mentally strong group. A few weeks back, I wrote down a list of all the things that I think that great teams conquer. That was one of them that was left open, to score a late goal to win, and now we have got that in our pocket as well. I think this group is just going to continue to move forward and continue to get better."

On the team's decline in attendance despite its surprising campaign:

"Maybe it's just that the people out there need to wake up a little bit and realize that this is a good soccer team, and now a winning a soccer team. Maybe they just have always have thought that we weren't and were just going to continue to languish at the bottom, as we have the past few years."

REAL SALT LAKE DEFENDER JAMISON OLAVE

On scoring his first MLS goal:

"Fortunately today it happened and we got the win."

On his recent play:

"Fortunately I'm starting to reach a good level. Everyday I'm working a little bit harder to get to the level I feel I should be at and I am very happy with the team."

REAL SALT LAKE FORWARD ROBBIE FINDLEY

On coming back after Toronto's late goal:

"We've been in that position before and we told ourselves, 'When it happens again we're going to know what to do.' That's what good teams do. Good teams that gel know how to pick themselves up out of games like that."

On playing six of the next eight games on the road:

"I think the team is coming along like we want it to. We played well on the road the last few games and we've done what we needed to do here at home. Going on this break we're definitely confident in our game, and when we get back we're going to get back to working hard."

TORONTO FC HEAD COACH JOHN CARVER

On the result:

"Again, it's another game where we felt we had something, and then poor defending shoots ourselves in the foot. It seems to be the story of our life at the moment, especially on the road."

On Toronto FC's troubles on the road:

"I don't know how we can defend like Trojans at home; maybe it's because we've got 20,000 screaming fans down your throat, and if you make a mistake they'll let you know about it. But there's something not right when we are away from home. You claw your way back into the game ... and you come away with nothing."

On TFC's struggles in the final third:

"In fairness, it's been the story of the season. That's why we've been desperate to try and get some strikers in. We feel we've got close to one when it was announced on Thursday by the commissioner that we would have a deal done by [Friday]. It's now Monday and the deal still hasn't been done, so I'm a bit perplexed."

On the potential deal involving forward Chad Barrett:

"I'm just so surprised how something can be done that's quite so simple can take so long. It seems that everybody else seems to be able to trade over the last few days, but we can't. Why is that?"

TORONTO FC GOALKEEPER GREG SUTTON

On the game:

"It's kind of the same old story. We can't put 90 minutes together and we're letting ourselves down. We did well to get back in the game the second half. I thought we did what we said we wanted to do at halftime, and we were pretty effective. Then we had that mental error again. It's one thing to happen once or twice, but now it's at the point where it's becoming a habit. We need to start learning from these mistakes and make sure they don't happen again. We can do what we can on the road, but there's a time in every game that we need to buckle down and make sure we're doing the right things."

On the early collision with RSL's Chris Wingert:

"It was just a ball that popped up in the air and those balls are always tough to read... how they're going to go and how they're going to fall. I just wanted to make sure that I came out there and got rid of it. It was a three-man collision, but we all came out OK, thankfully."
