NEW YORK RED BULLS 1, KANSAS CITY WIZARDS 1

NEW YORK RED BULLS HEAD COACH JUAN CARLOS OSORIO

On Dave van den Bergh's ejection:
"I think you all saw it. It was a tackle from behind and he tried to get himself free and it was a red card."

On the Red Bulls' resilience:
"I think that was a great response in the second half. In the first half, we couldn't get a hold of the game. It was however, a game that they (Kansas City) only one chance all game and it was from a set play that we conceded. I am very disappointed with that considering the height and the time that we dedicated to defensive plays during the training. But, give credit to the boys. They responded very well in the second half."

On the play of Danleigh Borman:
"We gained width by introducing Danleigh (Borman). Not only his goal, but he had another chance and I think we had like three good chances before that."

"Personally, I can only be very pleased with Danleigh. I remember we discovered him in January in the combine in Florida. At the time, I thought he was probably a good player with good potential and I think he's developing very well at the moment and he is contributing a great deal to our recent results."

On the play of Andrew Boyens:
"I think he did very well. He's not the quickest but I think he's a clever guy, intelligent, and generally, I don't think they got him behind too many times. I think that we defend that high line very well and I think that he will gain confidence and get better and better."

On not capitalizing on scoring chances:
"I thought it was a matter of time. Yes, it was frustrating to see that we created good chances and we couldn't score before. But, that's football and you have to play 90 minutes and sometimes you get it at the end the goal and sometimes you get it early on and today was the first case."

On getting a point:
"This is five games unbeaten and the guys get more confidence every game and I think for me personally, I will be very frustrated because I think we probably deserve a little bit more. If I am realistic, they only created chances from set plays and that's something that we have to work on and keep improving. As far as open play, I think it was another solid performance from our back four, back five. So, I am glad for the point for the guys."

NEW YORK RED BULLS MIDFIELDER DANLEIGH BORMAN

On his goal celebration:
"That's a goal celebration that I've done from college that actually started from my father doing the back flips. I can't do a back flip so in his honor, I do the (back roll)."

On the instructions Juan Carlos Osorio gave him at halftime:
"He just said I needed to come in and be effective and try to make a difference in the game -- to do what I do and take on players from my position, give it to Juan Pablo (Angel) and put crosses in."

On whether he is surprised so far with his contribution so far:
"A little bit because I came into this league just trying to be on the 18-man roster and now, I'm pushing for a starting position so I'm just happy to be here right now to be getting some playing time."

NEW YORK RED BULLS MIDFIELDER DAVE VAN DEN BERGH

On the play on his red card:
"He was pulling me, pulling me and tugging me on my arm and on my shirt all over. I was just trying to shake loose and I tried it once and I tried it twice and on the third time, I couldn't shake him loose with my arm dangling by my body so my arm came up. Obviously, my intention was never to hit him. I don't think I did hit him. I think he had a good dive like he was in a swimming pool. But, the thing is I think I'm too tall -- if I throw my arm up and try to shake loose, it comes in the vicinity of a face. I think the ref could've prevented it from happening by calling a foul five seconds earlier."

On his team fighting back:
"I'm happy with the way they responded to my sending off ... I think everybody played their hearts out tonight and I think we got rewarded for our hard work. I think we deserved three points to be honest with you -- I think they had one chance and give them credit, they take it well. Jimmy Conrad does very well on that corner kick but with a little more luck and a little more determination, I think we score three or four more goals."

NEW YORK RED BULLS FORWARD JUAN PABLO ANGEL

On the game:
"Obviously, to get David (van den Bergh) sent off changed the whole game and I think we got to give credit to the team that we came back and fought back even one man down. It was a great goal for him (Borman), he was in a great position and he took it well."

NEW YORK RED BULLS DEFENDER ANDREW BOYENS

On his debut with the Red Bulls:
"Today was a long day. I woke up early this morning and I couldn't wait to get out there today. When it came around, there were a lot of nerves and excitement. I really enjoyed it out there today despite the result."

On the game:
"We went into this game with three points in our heads and it's hard to feel hard done by when your down one-nil and come back and score with 10 men because to fight back and get a goal and get a draw out of the game is good considering where we were. But, we still feel like we should've won that game."

KANSAS CITY WIZARDS HEAD COACH CURT ONALFO

On the game:
"We came into halftime 1-0 up and the plan for the second half was just manage it and continue to play. They made an adjustment and went back to the 4-4-2 and really pushed their two outside guys wide. They also became very, very dangerous on set pieces which really were throw-ins. Our guys didn't do a good enough job dealing with those. We gave them too many chances. Then, we get a red card and I think the game is sealed and we walk out of here with three points. Then, we did a poor job of managing the game in the last 10 minutes. I look for our veteran players in those moments to do a better job on those occasions. I'm very disappointed that we walk away from here with just one point."

On the team's road swing:
"There's only two left. It's an uphill battle but we have to stay strong and make sure we regroup and are a little bit better for our game in L.A. next week."

KANSAS CITY WIZARDS MIDFIELDER DAVY ARNAUD

On getting back out on the field:
"It didn't really matter because we didn't get the three points that we should have. It felt good to be out there but it would've been better to get the win."

On what went wrong while playing with a man-advantage:
"We could've kept the ball better when we were a man up. We could have killed the game off by getting the second goal but we didn't do a good enough job for sure."

KANSAS CITY WIZARDS DEFENDER JIMMY CONRAD

On improving on set pieces:
"It's been a point of emphasis that we are good on set pieces both offensively and defensively. Teams that win championships are on the plus side and are very dangerous on set pieces and that's where we want to be."
